- Good book, but you need correct your sample..... Grade 3
- As a teacher, I know how important it is for students to continue to sharpen their skills, even away from school. I bought this for my second grade son as an enrichment book because we had previously purchased the 1st and 2nd Grade books in years prior. The work was clear and easy to follow and just what he needed to work on advanced skills for his grade. This would be a great workbook for 3rd graders and younger students ready to work in advanced skills. The worksheets are easy to follow and have just enough color to make them attractive. My son loves these books and we by them every year for him during the summer so he gets an early start on the next year’s standards. The book is very traditional, none of the meaningless fluff that is so rampant in education these days. Sometimes, students just need to practice skills, and this book is a great way to do this.
- I really liked this book and it was a good fit for my kids for the following two reasons Lots of problems for practice (compared to Sylvan). Comprehensive and logical (it made sense and gave you plenty of practice).
I found only a couple of issues with the layout towards the end Some of the fraction lines were off and the kids were confused because the spaces where they were supposed to write answers didn't match the examples. Also, one of the line plots included data up to 12 inches, but the line only extended 10 inches.
But I can live with those things and would buy this book again. - This is the second year that we've bought the math workbook. It allows parents to see what is being taught in each grade and to check how well the child understands the subject matter. It also supports timed problem solving to simulate test-taking. I find this series also suitable for the long summer breaks to keep the subject matter fresh combatting brain drain.
- I love these work books. They don’t give all of the info though, so you have to be willing to do a little research. I usually supplement spectrum math books with Math Antics on you tube.
- I got these for my 6 year old son. It is about 2 digit addition and deduction and there will be questions about multiplications as well. Totally recommend it

- Great for basic worksheets. Lots of addition/subraction review. Gets to multiplication and beyond about half way through the book.
